
GreenXperts Limited's Call for Suppliers of 10 million Voluntary Vintage Carbon Credits® from unprotected Pre-1990 New Zealand indigenous forest has come right on time for sale into the developing Voluntary Carbon Market 2.0 High Integrity Credits.
Watershed is a San Francisco-based sustainability management company for more than 500 global companies including Airbnb, FedEx, General Motors, Visa, Walmart, four of the top six US banks, and six of the top 10 private equity firms in the USA. Watershed manages over 2GT (giga-tonnes) of emissions, and needs 1 million tonnes of carbon credits to fulfil customer demand over the next 18 months. They have released an international RFP (request for proposal) for the supply of 1 million high integrity voluntary carbon credits. The RFP's deadline is 31 March 2025.
And this is demand from just one carbon management firm in the USA.
Currently our two-week-old Call for Suppliers has resulted in responses from Pre-1990 native forest owners with total commitment shown below as of 6 March 2025:
